Switches and Elevators

So... Switch Blocks and Elevators as you may have seen are a bit complicated. Switches make Switch Blocks move one tile in any direction. The direction the Switch Blocks move is set using WASD. Switches if you notice when you mouse over them, show an indicator. (That yellow square.) To set which Switch Block a switch is set to move, you can use the WASD to move the indicator. When you're over the Switch Block, press C to set it to that Switch Block. The Switch should be now tilted to one side.

Switch Blocks only move once able! If you block it with a tile or an object it waits until the obstruction is removed.

Elevators are a bit more complicated. The Elevator Button works the same way as a Switch, move the indicator over the elevator and press C. This sets the Elevator it is associated to. When you press the button, the elevator will appear there if it is somewhere else. If you want to change where it appears, move the indicator. Do NOT press C if you want to keep it linked with that elevator.

Elevators move on tracks. Anything labeled with Track A can't connect to stuff labeled Track B. Track Metal can be used to link the two. If the Elevator gets disconnected from a track, it can move anywhere until it is linked with another track again.

Elevators can override certain actions when you move with them, like magnetism with a magnetic blueprint and floating with a lightweight blueprint. Elevators can also be used as temporary platforms for objects like crates...
